Apparently Richards was climbing on Bent, therefore a penalty was given.
I haven't seen what happened, so I can't really comment. But Richards is forever climbing on people, for a 22 year old he still makes really amateur mistakes. Mojo will be pleased. City are a MASSIVE club. |

Got into an argument with one tonight actually, "Berbaflop"
I reminded him that their star player was a bench warmer for us, and we won the league whilst he was sat on the bench. I wound him up a treat. Typical bitter blue nose. Winding City fans up aside, I do like Berbatov. I wanted to see him moved on in the summer, for one reason and one reason only: I don't believe he's scored against Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool or City in a red shirt. And we could do with a big game player, that said the criticism about his work rate is ridiculous. It's almost as if some of our fans have never seen him play for Spurs. We knew what we were buying, and against the smaller teams he does some wonderful things with that football. I just believe he needs to up his game, and do it against the bigger teams. (Unless I'm forgetting any goals he's scored against the so called "big teams") |

How can you not love this guy?
New Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has played down their disappointing opening day draw with Real Mallorca, and says he is the man to bring long-term stability to the club. "I am a coach not Harry Potter. He is a magician. Magic is fiction and I live for football which is real," he said. (Reuters) |

Must admit, Wigan's transfer dealings yesterday were a little disappointing. We didn't get that left-back or covering centre-back we so desperately need, we didn't get rid of that arrogant cunt known to the rest of the world as Charles N'Zogbia, and for some reason Bobby thought it'd be a good idea to sign Franco Di Santo - the very same fella who could only score against Burnley last season. Still, it's not all doom and gloom. Tom Cleverly might turn out to be a good signing I guess.
Talking of the transfer window; BBC Sport - Football - Liam Boyce completes move to Werder Bremen from Reds ^ That lad's agent should be knighted. Maybe he could get methe England manager's job while he's at it too. |
