I don't follow any team but they put games on TV here so I watch whatever ones that are on. Aston Villa vs West Ham.

Cattermole sent off already. I had wondered if he would get the first red of the season and there you go. Thats the kind of player he is and thats why i think we're better with him than without, he digs in and throws himself into any challenge but it kind of gets to be ridiculous when you are suspended as often as he is, especially last season.
My stream is crap so i didn't really see the two offences but we're 1-0 up at half and the boos from the fans sound deafening. Kenwyne Jones made his debut for stoke today...and got injured. Bwahaha. |

Cattermole is a less talented Roy Keane type player, he will give his all and get sent off a few times. But what a player to have, just for that work rate and drive.
Kenwyne the penguin. I f*cking hate Stoke. Anti-football. I dislike Blackburn and Bolton as well, but they'll stay up. I can't wait for Old Trafford on Monday. Not fair that everyone plays today and tomorrow and I have to wait. |

They were pretty poor for most of the first half but overall it was a disciplined, organised and solid defensive start to the season but they never really looked a threat going forward, bar one or two good chances.

Stoke are just full of ex Sunderland players now. It's ridiculous. Kenwyne CAN be unplayable when he's on it, he can be absolute class. But those games don't come around so often. Keane seemed to love the guy but Bruce just never seemed impressed, especially with his work rate. I have no ill feeling toward Jones at all but i have to admit, it did tickle me a bit to see that he went off injured just minutes into his Stoke debut. I'm looking forward to Monday night too, Stunt. I'm looking forward to seeing your lot welcoming the Toon back to the Premiership with style. |

I kind of liked Kenwyne, because the few occasions he wanted to do it - he did it. I thought he was a good footballer for a midtable team, but Bruce never warmed to him. B*stard scored an equaliser at OT last season. F*cking Foster. I don't think we'll welcome them back with style, I think it will be a workman like performance. 2-0 hard fought win. But they'll want to come back with a bang. |

West Ham looks like a different team now even though there have been some questionable calls.
