Yeah, the lower leagues are hotting up nicely too. There's something in it for me too, as Exeter are my second team (what with my being born there and all), and a great result against Colchester today it was too.

Here's a link anyone else into the lower leagues might find slightly interesting;

United's first half display was shocking, apparently Drogba was offside, haven't seen it on the tele yet, I was at the other end of the ground and it was impossible to tell.

I heard it's pretty conclusive. Incompetent referees could cost us the league. I wouldn't mind as much - you win some you lose some. But when cunts say you never get decisions against United at Old Trafford.

Proud of Macheda, more movement and ideas he showed in 20 minutes than Berbatov showed in the entire game, big supporter of Berbatov at his time here, but if he doesn't do it in the big games, he doesn't cut the mustard. We need another striker.

Wow, 4-0 to Man City within 20 minutes of playing. Thoughts, right-track/CunningStunt?

Drogba definitely offside. Not even close. How the linesman didn't see it, God only knows!
Don't forget the dodgy decision that cost us 3 points at Stamford Bridge either.
Ref bottled it over 2 penalty calls. One for each.

To be honest I can't complain about the result.
Chelsea much the better team in the first half and looked fresher than a jaded United hungover from Wednesday night.
Berbatov isn't a striker as such and United would have been better off playing Macheda from the start...in front of Berbatov. His style of play is better suited deeper.
All is not well in the red camp, but still everything to play for.

I'd rather lose 2-1 to Chelsea than 3-0 to ****ing Swindon.

I feel the same as you, no real complaints but it's hard to take when at 1-0 down, even though we were poor, we could've got a scrappy Macheda type goal - was it handball? I just saw it and thought it bounced off his chest.. but a couple of City fans I know were saying handball. Hard to trust them buggers though.

First half display was one of the worst I've seen.
Most frustrating game of football I've seen all season.
Fergie needs to make some ballsy decisions.
Macheda in from the start against Bayern.

I don't think you can justify starting Neville Giggs and Scholes, love them all to pieces but you need legs.

Hilarious. It's actually cheered me up. Sat here with a City fan pissing ourselves. It'd cheer me up even more if it got called off. downpour

Well then...

BBC Sport - Football - Burnley 1-6 Man City

Coupled with Hull falling short against Stoke, if the latics could just refrain from fucking it up against Fulham tomorrow this could end up being a pretty awesome weekend.
