I never get tired of exploding the popular misconception (City fans sad propaganda) that City have more Mancunian based fans than United.
It simply isn't true. Never has been and never will be!
So there you have it. United are from Manchester and so are the vast majority of the fans.

It's true to say I live on the wrong side of town in footballing terms, but because of stadium location terms only.
Both City and United fans are pretty much spread out evenly throughout the city with the odd exception.
Parts of north Manchester and especially Salford are almost exclusively red and you won't find many United fans living in the Moss Side or Longsight districts, south of the city centre.
Put simply...City's stadium isn't big enough to accommodate United's match going Mancunian United fans. FACT.
Fact is...they can't even regularly fill it themselves.

I was just having a joke with you mate.

Really though, Salford and Trafford are under the 'M' postcode so they pretty much are in Manchester, although I like to see Salford as a city within a city.

In my experience of being on t'other side of the pennines, I've found Mancunians are very much split between City and United and yeah, I suppose it is down to which area you're from. Although if pushed I'd say Manchester is roughly 60% red, 40% blue.

Man, discussions like this remind me how boring it is being from a one club city.

But Royston Vasey is based on your generic towns in Yorkshire, so there!

I won't argue with that.

Thursday can wait.

Tonight my attention is focused on "The Massive's" entertaining the mighty Wigan.
A lot to play for. Wigan struggling to avoid the drop, while Citeh are perusing the European dream/delusion.

Could be a fun night.

3-0 Tevez hat trick. Lost cause though tbh, as they are still in 5th place. Kind of a given (no pun intended) that Wigan would lose, they're a small time, tin pot no mark club who I still find it hard to believe are in a higher leage than the likes of Newcastle, Forest and of course us.

Can't say the same about their Rugby League team though, as my beloved Rhinos found out on Friday.

We've earned our place in the Prem and stayed there on merit of sound financial investments and team performances over the last 5-odd years. Nothing weird about that.

Lol, Manu's losing at the end of the first leg. Rooney's possibly injured. Oh lol
