I also like Chelsea for the same reasons. It doesn't really have anything to do with how passionate the fans are, or 1966 and all that. neither does it have anything to do with their natty kits to be honest...or their youth system.

There ya go goodfoot...let it all out.

Well, no. I can't see it, but crazier things have happened and I don't want to count my chickens.

Oh I do hope you're right.

I am confident, but I mean, dismissing a team like Ac Milan is just disrespectful, Ronaldinho is still simply devine. Huntelaar is a good finished despite at that club having a lack of confidence, Beckham can produce quality. As can Seedorf (as you saw in the first leg.)

I think I'm more hindered by them getting the second goal. I was delighted with 3-1, then their second just gave me a reality check that it's not over.

Its more than that, English clubs have dominated the Champions League for several seasons now and have consistently beaten the best teams that the other two big leagues have (La Liga and Serie A most notably) So clubs like AC Milan, despite being giants of world football, will still come into a tie against clubs like Man.Utd and Chelsea etc knowing that the English club is the favourite.

There are exceptions of course.....because its football, especially when Barcelona ended the English dominance last season and despite their deserved victory in the final, they only got there because of scandalous refereeing in the semis against Chelsea.

I think it's just a pre match nerves kind of thing, I don't want to jynx it, and even though United are the clear favourites (I would've been happy with a 1-1 over there.) "we never make it easy for ourselves" as Fergie says.

Overconfidence has come back to haunt me in the past, a few derby matches especially.

I think your average West Ham thug on the street cares more about kicking lumps out of Millwall fans than they do about any of this rubbish.

Keep your bigoted sectarian crap to your own mickey mouse league.
