No arguments about his performance, i think he's been top class this season. He's still the same short tempered little prick he always was though. Im sure he'll say he lost his balance reaching for the ball tonight but i'll never believe that.

Bellamy & Tevez caused us issues all night and I can't see how Adebayor is going to get back in at the moment, he might be better off staying away for a while yet.
I noticed how Rooney suddenly came alive after the Owen substitution. I suspect this had something to do with City's wariness of Owen staying on the last man and looking to exploit space behind. This meant Rooney could come short for the ball and dictate play/run at the centre backs, which imo is when he is at his best. I hope Fergie just quits being stubborn with Berba and starts Owen/Rooney up top for a game or two.

Rooney was alive all night. The sudden activity towards the end of the match had more to do with City sitting back and consolidating what they had. To be honest Diouf looked more dangerous than Owen.

Well what a match. 6-4. I think Blackburn outplayed us at times. Bring on the final. City please

Infuriating that matches like this have to conincide with me having to do oodles of work but what a match nonetheless! A lot of respect to Blackburn, against a much stronger team they still picked themselves up and fought on. Great stuff.
