Fantastic result for Leeds. Its true that United looked very, very weak or without any sense of leadership at the back and the midfield wasnt really strong enough to feed Rooney and Berbatov but i still think that especially with the addition of Giggs, Valencia and Owen in the second half that they should have been able to at least force a replay.
Unorganised and not exactly playing to their strengths with the line up but there was enough quality on the field to do away with Leeds. |

Utd were awful today. Missed Vidic badly and Brown played like someone who had settled for a day bench-warming.
Welbeck showed his true (lack of) quality today, no first touch, no vision, no final ball. I know he's a striker but jesus, these are the basics! Tosic would have been more effective out there and that's saying something. Time to pack Welbeck off to the championship I think and get in a left-sided player of quality. Are any other Utd fans growing weary of shouting "do something with it!"? Going forward our players always want to take an extra touch or three, especially in wide areas. Just whip it in early and don't give the defense time to set, at least Rooney might get on the end of it. The less said about Berbatov's predatory instincts, the better.

I watched both the Burnley and the Man U matches. Honestly, Burnley were lucky to hang on at the end to get through. Also, Leeds were lucky at the very end when Man U were throwing everything at the goal. If Man U had kept a little calmer at the end they could have got at least one.
Just means all you Man U fans now will have to get behind the Clarets as far as the FA cup goes..... Who reckons Coyle will go to Bolton or stay at Burnley? |

Couldn't agree more. Seems to me that while he's got the ball rolling in the right direction he should see it through and see how far he can take them.
It's the promise of more spending money at Bolton that might sway his desicion. |

After investing all that effort and nurturing Burnley to Premier League status you'd have at least thought he'd want to consolidate their position in the top flight before moving on.
Instead he looks like he wants to save a club struggling for survival??? Had he achieved that with Burnley his worth as a manager would have seen him well sought after by clubs much bigger than Bolton. |

I think what he's managed to do with Burnley is instill something in the players that money can't buy. That is team spirit and a lot of pride in the club. It is frustrating I'm sure when he sees other Premier clubs spending millions in an attempt to 'buy' the right team when the check book at Burnley is basically empty.
Coyle's hands have been tied in comparison. He's probably attracted by the extra money that Bolton would have to spend and because of his past history there, he could also add the team spirit thing that has been missing at Bolton recently. A winning combination maybe.... After saying that I'm really hoping he stays at Burnley, especially if they manage to stay up in the Premiership. |
