Hi there, I'm fairly new on here and just noticed this thread. Any BURNLEY F.C. fans around these parts? I've been a clarets fan since waaay back when I played in the Briercliffe County Primary school team. Thats about 4 miles from Turf Moor and my parents still live over there in the same village.

Ok, first time up at the top for a long time but beating MAN U for the first game was a pretty good start! Have not won in the last nine games but I reckon as long as they can stay up in the Premiership by the end of the season, they will just get stronger and stronger.

They are probably the poorest team in the league financially but they make the best of what they have and always go out and play good, hard, attacking football,(even if theyr'e losing it seems).

COME ON YOU CLARETS!!!

All the best, Gordon.

I love how Liverpool's expectations collapsed this season, from expecting a title to being happy with a win over Villa.

It'll be less interesting once you two realise the race won't include either of your teams.

4-0 up for United now with a goal from Berbatov.
Sounds like Wigan are struggling with balls played in from wide.
Valencia is having a field day down the flanks.

Fucking hell, that's 9-0 on aggregate already!

Even so, I still refuse to worry about relegation.
