Like that picture of Besty by the way. George best and Ralph Coates were my heroes way back....(that's if it is George Best...).

If Burnley can find the kind of spirit they shown against United at Turf Moor, they'll stay up no problems.

Edit: It is GB btw
Just heard a stat...10 goals scored tonight in 2 games by 10 different scorers.

I'm not about to make any predictions on who is going down this year. I'm concentrating more on who's staying up and I'm 100% sure that Burnley are gonna be there. They have a strong fighting spirit and a real loyal bunch of fans but not a lot of money to spend. That same 'underdog' survival instinct plus me wearing my B.F.C. shirt here in Georgia will pull them through.

By the way, I've always been a joint Man U and Burnley supporter since my days at primary school. Course, Burnley are always my first team.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YA'LL. You will be there 5 hours in front of us so have a good one!

Stoke pulled it off last season by turning their home stadium into a fortress, Burnley are certainly looking to do the same this season, problem is they`re very close to the relegation zone along with a lot of other teams. Their home form is good, but their away form and experience at this level is the big negative.

Likewise, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYBODY on here

I dont think Burnley will go down. The second half of their season is gonna be much more important than their first though, just ask Hull fans. They have a small squad of players and they might not be able to ride out the last third of the season. If they pick up a few injuries they'll find themselves deep in the bottom three in no time.

The only thing I was almost right about was the team sheet, Giggs didn't play but Park did.

5-0, I had a sneeky feeling it may have been 4 or 5, but it would've been far hopeful for me to predict.

Tomorrows FA Cup 3rd round tie versus Leeds and the way it's fans and the media are billing this game is seriously beginning to grate on my nerves.
The rivalry between these two sets of fans is and has always been, rather one sided, in that Leeds United fans seem to be under the impression that we, 'the only United' are their closest and bitterest rivals.
The truth of the matter couldn't be further from the truth.
Yes, Man United fans hate the Leeds with a passion, but not because we consider them rivals, but because they are a shower of irritating, wannabe non entities that ride on the back of the glorious name of Manchester United.
They have no reason whatsoever to hate United. I've got more time for City and Liverpool fans when it comes to these matters, as they have a valid reason and the feelings are definately mutual.
To me, these are the true football rivalries and not the imaginations of jealous sheep shagging Leeds fans looking to fabricate a football rivalry on a par with Celtic/Rangers.
We don't care about you! We don't consider you a rival on any level!
Stick to hating Huddersfield Town or some other inbred Yorkshire footballing back water dwarf of a club.
Fuckin' tykes!

They were our rivals in 1999, until we beat them 3-2 at Old Trafford and ended their hopes of a title and then we went on to win the treble. I've got more time for City fans than Leeds fans, my best mate is a City fan. They can just be very bitter at times, Leeds fans take bitterness to a whole other level though. But still I'd take a Leeds fan over Liverpool any day.

Shameful for saying otherwise! Liverpool is the worst place I've ever been to. I went in the shopping centre and you could just see a swarm of red and blue shirts, trackie bottoms and you could hear a lot of squeeking because of their accent. Horrible place. I'm 18 and I talk to Liverpool fans around my age and they think their team are currently a massive club because of what their team did in the 80s, before they were born.

One of them tried to start a fight with a friend of mine in the street, with his kids calling him a ****ing c*nt. Nice example to set for your children.

Scouse bastards.

I used to work with a guy from Liverpool a couple of years ago and he used to have what looked like a 1970-1980's Souness/McDermott hair perm
