You try telling them otherwise.
And before you go getting your knickers in a twist, there is an element of tongue in cheek humour intended. The emphasis isn't on whether or not they are actually, in real life, for real rent boys.
The emphasis lies with the insult.

You should hear what most other fans refer to when insulting United fans.

The emphasis lies in the fact that you're using a derogatory term which is demeaning to homosexuals to insult others. That's homophobic, there's no dancing around it...:\
