How many times has this happened? lol I blame Hicks and Gillet.

See Santa Cruz's missus was held up at knife point in their house too.

Villa have had a strange season. Amazing one week and very poor the next. I guess its been that way for some way time now though. Good chance in Europe though maybe? They are a somewhat a big game team.

It's damn annoying because three matches we should have won (Newcastle, Fulham and Middlesbrough) would have put us right in the mix. A season too early for us. We need a regular goalscorer. Rumours are that we have a few quid in January to spend on a striker.

Agbonlahor is a fantastic striker with a load of pace and a load of potential considering he's still young but yes you have a point. Hes far from prolific especially when your team is aiming as high as Villa are. It could be a lot worse for Villa right now considering Liverpool and Arsenal's form of late.

Im still trying to digest the news about Roy Keane resigning today and I must say I have very mixed feelings about the whole thing. Firstly I do not wish to appear ungrateful, Roy Keane has been a huge success and getting Sunderland promoted and surviving that initial hurdle of retaining Premiership status throughout the first season up is something that most Sunderland fans will never forget. We've fallen at that hurdle enough now to know what a big deal that was. It could be argued that he bought that success but he used the influence he had to sell the club to players that may not have thought the move up north to be very appealing at all and attract some very decent players to the club. However even with all the speculation over the last few weeks and some of the comments he has made to suggest he is unhappy at the club, questoning whether he was the right man for the job I still find myself surprised that he has gone as I thought he would at least see out the season.

If he believes he has taken the club as far as he can and really does believe that he isnt the right man for the job then dropping into the bottom 3 on the back of a hopeless performance, it could be argued, was the perfect time to leave so we have time to rebuild and ensure we stay up but I think the majority of the fans would have wanted him to stay (I know I did) and the club supposely did everything they could to convince him to stay and I think theres a real posibility that at a time where we need some real leadership he has turned his back and potentially dropped us right in it. Two days before a trip to Old Trafford also!

United 1 Sunderland 0.

72% possession in favour of United as opposed to 28% for Sunderland.
I don't think I've ever seen such a blatant display of non football from a team visiting Old Trafford in my life!
No wonder Keano resigned. If I was a fan of Sunderland Football Club I'd sue under the trade description act.
Fuckin' disgraceful!

You still won did'nt ya? Tut. Sunderland were awful though. I literally nearly fell asleep.

They should be fined by the F.A.
