Seems to me like there's a bit more variety in women's tennis exactly because they don't just rocket the ball back and forth at impossible speeds.
That's why women's tennis is boring though. It's so much slower. Watching Novak Djokovic lunge like a snake across the entire court in half a second to return an unreturnable meteor serve and then make it do things physics should frown upon is simply amazing.

It's impressive, but I do get bored by how everyone's a power baseliner these days. I feel like there's more net play and other unexpected tricks in women's tennis. The men would beat the women any day of the week though, to keep it on topic. I just personally find them less interesting to watch.
