That's why women's tennis is boring though. It's so much slower. Watching Novak Djokovic lunge like a snake across the entire court in half a second to return an unreturnable meteor serve and then make it do things physics should frown upon is simply amazing.
It's impressive, but I do get bored by how everyone's a power baseliner these days. I feel like there's more net play and other unexpected tricks in women's tennis. The men would beat the women any day of the week though, to keep it on topic. I just personally find them less interesting to watch.

I wouldn't say women's tennis is boring. One of the best matches I've seen in recent years was Watson vs Williams (Wimbledon 2015), and I can happily watch it and be gripped by it when it's on. The thing with women's tennis is that it is slower but it is actually played to a pretty good standard.

Whereas football isn't and gets far more coverage and attention than it deserves because the standard is fucking shite and not many people give a shit about it (other than maybe the BBC and the athletes themselves).
