I don't really know how to address this without talking down to you and I don't want to do that because I think you're a smart guy that just doesn't dig as deep into statistics as I do. I've literally been studying sports statistics for years, and I would bet that you haven't. Yards/attempt is the best stat by far for measuring quarterback efficiency. A sub-7 yards/attempt given Brady's playoff sample size is objectively poor.

There are lots of articles by smarter statisticians than me that explain the stat's usefulness better than I ever can. I can point you in the right direction if you'd like

U could never talk down to me cuz I wouldn't take it seriously. Its not that meaningful of a stat. Brady would march down the field with 5 yard option routes. And ur punishin him for that. Its just quite meaningless

Feel free to ignore the facts, I guess. This is why I don't post in the sports forums here; casual sports fans bug the **** out of me because they think their opinion trumps basic statistical measures.
