Dig them out. I know some funny ones are floating around.

You must admit it was funny seeing them all in tears though. It's bad enough when players cry but fans crying over their favourite team losing a game is just
If that was my dad at the match hugging a replica trophy and crying I'd be embarrassed, honestly. |

There is this great one with this older lady crying but can't find it right now. The video footage on the news kept showing it.

Okay, so lets talk about tonight?
Argentina have Messi. Higuain looked good in the last game. I don't fancy them defensively and I think they've too many individuals to be a truly effective team. Netherlands have Robben. Are very good going forward, quick on the counter which could seriously hurt Argentina if Messi loses a ball upfield or Zabaletta strays too far forward. Again, don't particularly fancy them defensively and despite their attacking prowess failed to break down Costa Rica last round. Expecting this to go to extra time at least, with Netherlands narrowly edging through to the final where Germany will put them down like a sick cat. Netherlands to win 2-1 aet. |

van Gaal has had a pair of tactical masterstrokes with the van Persie and Krul subs, I'm worried he will find a way to win this.
Any team with Messi in it always has a chance though. If you watch the goal he scored against Iran, they had all eleven men behind the ball and he still found a way to get it into the goal. Two sides with decent but not particularly great defences but each with probably the best forward players in world football as a unit = nailed on 0-0 and extra time. I'm counting on Messi to do it again and win the game late on with a piece of genius. If Argentina are to go through they must do it in open play, if it goes to penalties I think the players will melt. 1-0 Argentina aet. Messi > sheckshy voetbal. |
