Said that after the first game. Far too many completely ordinary players to win it.

Germany's to take unless Argentina step up their game. Now that Neymar is out. And I said before it started that Germany had no chance of a win.

Goofle 07-05-2014 03:59 PM

Yeah. Germany are the only team "under-performing" for me. They should raise their level and win it. But will they?

James 07-05-2014 04:00 PM

I think they've all 'underperformed' this week. Hoping it's the calm before the storm.

Yes mate, said it earlier, Belgium are England 2006 mk 2. Look good on paper but had anybody seen them play well as a team lol? I saw them a while back, think it was against Scotland and they were shite. I knew as soon as they came up against a decent side they would be out, they've been stale the whole tournament.

Very happy for Argentina, now go and end this Brazilian party please :).

BTW I can confirm Goofle said the Netherlands had no chance.

Goofle 07-05-2014 04:09 PM

What I meant by that was the other teams actually don't have a complete team of good to very good players. Therefore when they whimper around a little bit, it's understandable. Germany, on the other hand, should be playing a lot better because they have the best team.

Only Brazil come close to Germany in terms of having a complete squad.

Messi is obviously the equaliser though.

ESPN - Chris Waddle 3 'Pelanty' (penalty) Sentence - YouTube

If this goes to pels I think the Dutch will win.

Could have been an even better squad as well. With Klose struggling at first and Gundogan and Bender out in the midfield. Klose's injuries were the reason I was so doubtful before it started.

:(

Tim Krul, what a cock.

Goofle 07-05-2014 05:04 PM

Gundogan has gone all out fatty. Never recovering :(
