If Algeria won it'd have to be between Brazil & Argentina.

So many chances wasted in this match from both sides...

ffs that free kick.

Brilliant match.

Bar Colombia, every team in the knockout stages I've wanted to go through has lost.

Well, the world cup has gradually got "normal", as it were... Netherlands push Mexico out of the cup, Germany beat Algeria, Brazil got rid of Chile. Costa Rica nearly crashed out but they're still alive (nobody sane wanted Greece to win; 100% in agreement). Yeah, by the skin of their teeth! But it's still a riveting world cup. I think the final game will be Brazil - Netherlands... had some painful nightmare this morning

About Argentina? You'll be fine but I'm a bit nervous now .

This is the best day of the 2nd round for me. Messi, and the USA & Belgium; closest on paper tie imo. I'm enjoying seeing the excitement in America, seems like soccer is taking off .

Side note: Roy Keane is now our assistant manager (Aston Villa, can't be arsed bumping the English football thread). Recipe for disaster will not last the season.
