They were both ravishing goals. Mate, everyone seriously rejoices at English footie nowadays: it's still fickle and unpredictable. You can watch Sunderland v Fulham (both supposedly weak teams) and you won't nod off. It's tough not to doze off here if you see the ones who are running 1st playing the ones who are running 2nd. Takeovers and relegations are thrilling and intense; at times the most exciting issue in a tourno. Aston Villa are safe, I believe. Birmingham and Millwall might go down into that League One, right? I remember that stupid goal after a throw in during the Birmingham derby some years ago, cracked me up.

Yeah it's a good league. & We have some good young players coming through to the national team now, Lallana, Delph, Barkley, Shaw, Sturridge, Sterling, Ravel Morrison (if he can sort himself out), then players on the cusp like Zaha, Ince, Redmond, Berahino etc... loads.
I've just looked at the table, they're a point off going down (Blues), didn't know it was that bad. You're on about the infamous Enckelman 3-0 game, 7 mins in is the goal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=689aE77dpQU He did it again in the return fixture which Blues won 2-0, came out to collect the ball and completely missed it. |

LOL saw it again; thanks, mate! Hadn't seen the fans behind the goalkeeper making fun of him! Seriously, poor lad! "Just a lack of concentration" LOL!!! Who would have thought: now Birmingham might be on the verge of becoming part of the League One...
btw Is Sturridge the same one that used to play for Rangers FC? |
