GROUP A: Brazil, Croatia, Mexico, Cameroon
GROUP B: Spain, Netherlands, Chile, Australia
GROUP C: Colombia, Greece, Ivory Coast, Japan
GROUP D: Uruguay, Costa Rica, England, Italy
GROUP E: Switzerland, Ecuador, France, Honduras
GROUP F: Argentina, Bosnia, Iran, Nigeria

Why would anyone want Spain? Also I think Ghana would give England fits also.

Cos they're the current champions. Same reason why people buzz their tits off when it's Man. Utd at home in the league. Anyway I think Spain have been sussed. Remember we did beat them.

As for Ghana, a lot of Ghanaians/people of Ghanaian descent here. Would be tense, the bants at the last World Cup was good and we didn't even play each other.

Don't forget Germany, hard to look past them. But yeah them 3.

Don't think our group is that bad tbh. Will dispatch of Costa Rica with ease. Jagielka & Cahill against Suárez and Cavani is a worry though.

If we get through, 2nd round for us will be one of Colombia, Greece, Ivory Coast or Japan. Only Colombia there is a real challenge imo. After that it is one of Spain or Brazil's groups teams. Realistically I think that is where we would go out, on paper, unless Brazil's groups runner up (Croatia, Mexico, Cameroon) got to the Quarters against us.

Even Croatia & Mexico would be tough though.

How about suggesting a surprise choice as well to go a long way in the tournament?

I backed Uruguay with 50 quid at odds of 50/1 a few months back.

And by backed I mean, forgot to use the free 50 quid bet to back them at those odds when they were struggling to qualify.

The popular surprise choice seems to be Belgium also.

I don't know anything about soccer, but can Argentina get any easier of a ride past the group stage? I know where they all are on the FIFA Rankings, but are any of those 3 threats to do anything, really?
