Cabrera's already gone to the White Sox. I agree that the bullpen needs a major upgrade. Second base too.

Maicer Izturis was their second baseman. Prior to injury, he was hitting a
.400+ avg...we expect the average to drop, but he could have been hitting
.300 all season. Sometimes when a player gets injured the whole season, they come back not being the same player.

I don't think there are any 2nd baseman out there that's a good fit with the Blue Jays.

So, uh, how 'bout them Cardinals? I keep waiting for their luck to run out, but it hasn't yet - here's hoping for another World Series win.

ETA: The game tonight was pretty exciting - gotta love the walk-off walk.

Last five National League champions:
2010: Giants
2011: Cardinals
2012: Giants
2013: Cardinals
2014: Giants

It's their turn.

Who cares? Baseball isn't a real sport. I bet pitchers can't even throw a football with a spiral. Show me one player who can play football or dunk. I bet you can't.

Darry Strawberry and Bo Jackson both played professional football.

Baseball's got the toughest schedule of any professional sport -- 162 games in six months. In other words, they play six out of seven nights in a week.

I'm pretty sure Darryl Strawberry never played pro football.

You're right, I was thinking of Deion Sanders.
