Its great to see a player finally go down...hopefully this is the beginning of the dominoes for other players to see the same fate. I also really like the reaction from a few players who have already come out and commented on it. For the first time, it looks like other players are coming forward and actually showing how they feel...how they're fed up with all the steroid bullshit.

i agree completely dan. even texas players and yankees players were comin out and expressing themselves honestly even though Cruz and ARod are goin down next.

i was listening to dan patrick show ((one of my faves)) and he brought up a good point about how baseball is slippin in compared to nfl/nba partly because most of the big headlines in the sport are steroid related. i want the liars and cheats to go down like they deserve and ive hated braun for a long time

i couldnt believe that press conference cause it was obvious he only got off on a technicality but the stuff he was sayin was basically accusing someone of tampering. i cant wait til brauns first press conference after bein suspended

If the biggest deal this year ends up being something as lame as Matt Garza to the Rangers then I'm gonna be very disappointed

Phils are tryin to hold onto guys to sell their product for that tv deal they want. Lol tho Michael young said ge wont go anywhere but rangers so thryre stuck with him.

-with an added wildcard team, in the future there will be less sellers because most teams are delusional in thinking they have a realistic chance and will be ever moreso since an extra team in each league gets in


-more teams are realizing the value in receiving compensation draft picks for losing guys to free agency. teams used to trade expiring contracts but now they can let them walk and get to pick any guy they want instead of takin some mid-level reliever or whoever who you dont know too much about and probably wont ever do much.

this. quite a few solid bats didnt get traded at the deadline because of this (Michael Young, Raul Ibanez, Marlon Byrd), and it kind of sucks cause Young would've helped my team (the Reds).
