The last game of '17 starts in about 3 hours, Astros vs Dodgers in a game 7 of what has been a classic series, the best series since, well, last years great 7 game Cubs vs Indians.

I'm a Mariners fan, at least you guys make the play-in game once in a while.

jays are 0-2 already... oh how i missed baseball season.
we are going to be in shambles this year, under 80 wins for sure. only upside is that maybe we see Vlad Jr up in the pros later this season. we’re still rebuiling the farm system after the all or nothing year a few years back when we brought in Reyes, Johnson, and the rest. i hope we take an approach of growing our own talent rather than trading all our assets to bring in injury prone players and making a failed playoff push again.

damn this is probably going to be another one of those “if only we weren’t in the AL east” seasons. once we get the quirks in our rotation worked out we should be pretty decent, but no where near the level of the yanks or sox.

if only it were that easy. it’s hard convincing players to come north of the boarder, there’s a lot of commitment that comes with playing in a different country than the other 29 teams.
as far as our roster goes, i agree but you have to look at what’s taking up our money. Tulo will make $20 mil this year and might not even play, his deal has turned out to be one of the worst in MLB history. Martin will make $20 mil as well. great catcher but at 35 that’s a lot of money. Morales will make $12 mil yet can’t hit a ****ing fast ball down main street. Donaldson will make $24 mil and deserves every penny. that alone is 76+ if it’s me we dump Donaldson and Martin at the deadline and call up Vladdy Jr and maybe Bichette too. btw, how about them Sox? all my coworkers are Boston sports fans, makes Monday mornings pretty hard on me Mookie is the real deal though, who else would you think of putting after Harper and Trout?
