No, not really. It's her parents fault most likely. When her Mom was alive, and I'd go to the house on a day when the Cubs lost but the Sox won, she wouldn't let me in the front door. She'd just stand there looking through the window shaking her head as I'd reassure her that I wouldn't say anything about it. Then once I was inside, I'd point at her and give her a "Haw haw!". She hated me.

I live in the New England area, so the Red Sox (pronounced "Red Sawx")

Always been a big baseball fan. Played growing up, it obviously takes a backseat to hockey, as most everything does to a good hard nosed Canadian boy. But Im a big Jays fan, have been since I was a kid. There is clearly a ton of hype for the Jays this year, as they spent a ton of money and really stacked up in short term contracts...lookin to win soon. Hasnt panned out so far in the way of the Cinderella story I believe a lot of people were expecting. But Baseball is a marathon, not a sprint. 162 Games...a lot of fuckin games left haha.

^ With me and my friends, hockey is second only to baseball.
I've always had lots of respect for the hockey players north of the border. You've always provided us with some awesome competition. Having said that... "Go Bruins!" (Pronounced "Broonz") Last edited by Psy-Fi; 04-21-2013 at 06:22 PM. Reason: Had to add an exclamation mark! |
