Whichever motivates you the most.
I train well at home but surrounded by others in a gym, waiting for machines/benches etc, wouldn't be good. Also depends on goal, there is no set answer. If you want to get stronger then running outside won't do much, if you want to improve stamina or do HIIT then training in your house means you won't have many options other than a skipping rope. |

Well for the average Joe who just wants to do a bit of exercise/improve fitness I would say running outside is the best. Go on a different route each day and see something different. Indoor cardio does my tits in.
Team sports are good too but you need other people for that. You can have a good workout with all the poll options but I think it's important to enjoy your workouts, I cannot think of a more boring way to train than being sat indoors on an exercise bike staring at a wall. |
