He was never gonna play in a tournament with Canada though, I can understand it. With Haaland its literally the opposite. He'll struggle to qualify with Norway but could win things with England.
I fully respect his decision BTW. |

Tomori is doing the same thing to us. I understand it and would probably do the same thing if I'm in their position, but it is still frustrating.
As for Halaand I think he seems to be closer to his Norwegian roots than his English ones. And England has no shortage of class attackers anyway. Where does he fit in England's full strength 11 unless they play a 2 striker formation?

If Kane is fit he wouldn't start.
Kane might not make it in time for the Euros. For the upcoming friendlies I'd have gone with something like: Henderson Trent - Maguire - Mings - Chilwell Henderson - Maddison Sancho - Grealish - Cantwell Haaland |
