Hoeness
Kartoffelbrei what do you make of it mate? Apparently this is massive news in Germany, like Ferguson going to prison here, but bigger, as apparently Hoeness was bigger than football and one of the most influential people in Germany. |

Why to shovel more money, if you already have piles of it?! I'm pretty angry at him, tbh

Do you think it will affect Bayern much? They are basically just at the start of their dominance (European 09-12 Barca-esque 'smashing everything in front of them' greatest team of all time level of dominance, I mean. Aware they've dominated Germany since forever)

Well. Hoeneß was just the money spender for Bayern. There's going to be another guy who checks in and gives them money. They are the most popular team in Germany. And the important part about Bayern München is their tactic.

Yeah, I remember a period in the early 00's when Bayer Leverkusen were doing well, then Bayern just came along and pinched Ballack off them.
As a neutral this annoys me. It's similar with Dortmund now, they've built this team on the cheap then lost Gotze and Lewandowski to them and Gundogan & Reus have been linked with moves away (obviously Gundogan linked with Bayern), it pisses me off. They are linked with Draxler from Schalke as well and may well get him. It's bad enough when clubs who aren't yet at their domestic summit do it (Southampton are a good example, West Ham too with their Rio/Lampard/Joe Cole era) but Dortmund were champions and CL finalists ffs. The days of building a team and creating a legacy are long gone. |

This annoys me so much. I mean Götze was born in München, and he was a Bayern fan since he was a kid..he would have gone there for even less money than Dortmund was giving him, just cuz of the honour of playin for Bayern. But they steal so many good players, which is srsly sad... I mean I love the team. But it's still ****ed up

I suppose that's one benefit of the sugardaddies in England, that they've broken the Man U monopoly, even if we don't agree with their methods. |
