Despite everything, Messi is still the very best in my humble opinion. A footballer of a mind-blowing calibre. He'll end up hugely frustrated next year in Brazil, since Argentina have been an execrable team for some long time. Let's hope he gets better soon; Barcelona need him.

France cheated again, just like they did against Ireland 4 years ago. Footie has become an execrable business. And I wish Sweden had gotten themselves a place in Brazil.

Only watched the Sweden Portugal match.... Indeed. What was up with the frenchmen? Don't have the ireland game fresh in mind.....

lol if ppl think Ribery has been better than Ronaldo & Messi then that's cos they're taking those two for granted.

Didn't even notice Ribery in the CL final. He's been quiet most times I've seen him play. Admittedly I don't wtach the Bundesliga often.
