Neymar would be anything other than a bad signing. We seem to overrate so many average players in this country, then make it our mission to make out as though top players like Ibra and Neymar are just decent.

Not sure how that Ibra myth started. Wasn't it because he uadn't scored against an English team or something similar?
Real vs Barca tonight then again at the weekend. As for Bale last night |

Ibra has been a top player, every team he has gone to he has done fairly wel, and that's the thing, he has experience with various leagues. Neymar has only played with Santos, and when he plays with Brazi, sometimes he performs, and when he needs to step up and prove himself, he flops. It's not about putting on a show, it's about creating all possible oppurtunities, I have seen him miss too many, both in his league and national team. Apparently he wants to wait it out until after the world cup, which I think is great, he will either prove his worth, or dig himself a hole. There are players like Götze or Wilshere who will easily take his place as the top young guns.

Don't know if that's statistically or physically, but I disagree, I would like to see how he does in the Premier or Bundesliga and see if he'd still hold up. My guess is no, but only time will tell, maybe he'll fit right in with the Spanish flair league, Busquets could teach him a dive or two.

People need to remember Neymar has only just turned 21. He's still a kid ffs. He's got the talent to be the very best, whether he will or not is another matter. He could be Robinho mk. 2, regardless of how unlikely that seems at the moment.
Most of the games I've seen Neymar play, he hasn't done much, (4-3 Argentina he did OK and I think he scored, the Club World Cup vs Barca he was anonymous, vs England recently he was anonymous again, think he did OK vs Britain in the Olympics friendly but again nothing of note.) You can't argue with his numbers though. lol Hello Miss P ^ |
