They could very well get pasted, but they will be up for this, I think they'll be able to stop Barca scoring for the first half hour. I don't think Madrid would be able to beat them over two legs either. Could see Bayern beating them though as well as Dortmund. Of the teams left in I would like United to win the tournament but they would need Barca to get knocked out, wouldn't fancy them in the final against Barca again. They've been incredibly unlucky to make the final twice recently and come up against these twats both times. Then the years they don't get to the final you had Inter, Bayern and Chelsea there. This year's competition has been great though so far, the resurgence of the big clubs like Dortmund and Juve is great. I think only Arsenal's tie looks like it's over now, most could still go either way. Could well be the end result but I don't know if it's going to be as comfortable for Barca as it looks on paper, there's been no real shocks yet either. They've been beaten away in Europe already. I'm hoping anyway. Abbiati; Abate, Zapata, Mexes, Constant; Montolivo, Ambrosini, Muntari; Boateng, Pazzini, El Shaarawy. Valdes, Dani Alves, Pique, Puyol, Jordi Alba, Xavi, Busquets, Fabregas, Pedro, Messi, Iniesta |

No plan B, they don't seem to have a ready-made gameplan to deal with these defensive tactics, surprising when you consider their track record against defensive teams in Europe and that they'll know they'll face these tactics in the knockouts.
Right scoreline, wrong result. Italians are the original bus parkers. |

Wide open for sure now. I guess i'd be rooting for Bayern now, I like Robben. |

Ronaldo is the lone wolf he has to create most of his goals on his own.
Messi plays with a team who has the top system in assisting, and the wonder twins Iniesta and Xavi will drive people crazy. Too me its not clear on whos better......I view it like basketball, Ronaldo does the more difficult goals often (shoots 3's) while Messi has a lot of easy layups. |

What's this I hear about Lampard going to LA Galaxy and Neymar to Barcelona? For the sake of Barça I want him no where near, one of the most overrated players right now, he still has a long way to go, would be a worse signing than Song.
Bayern is taking home the cups though, they are at the top of their game, just one of the many reasons I think German football is the best. I was going to post this in the GIF thread but what the hell... Moderator cut: image removed |
