Yeah but after that you still give his the same gimmick he has now.
I think having the fans support him for that one match only to see him throw it in their faces would work better than just bringing out as the same heel he was before.

At least for Mania, I get your logic but I think using Swagger in his current role will also help get Del Rio more over as a face at the same time, which is a two birds, one stone situation. He's not exactly the same as before, he now repeats the sentiment 'We the people' several times in a row when Zeb allows him to speak.
He's getting Triple H's shovel treatment after Mania regardless now. |

I know a simple guy who gets called doink, I only recently found out he was named after doink the clown.
That cracks me right up.

I haven't watched it in years, I used to be a massive fan, buying all the Pay per view DVDs in the early 2000's. Total nostalgia opening up this thread, it makes me sad I no longer have any of the DVDs. Summerslam, Unforgiven, Royal Rumble, No Way Out, I don't remember much which makes me even sadder. Remembering all the classic matches, Mankind trying to set the ring on fire, the whole business with Rey Mysterio, Chavo and Eddie (one of the saddest moments of my childhood hearing about Eddies death), the Buried Alive with Undertaker and Vince, Goldberg being a f'in beast, Stone Cold with the beer truck partying like a boss, the triple threat with Benoit, Michaels, and Triple H, man I miss it. Not to mention the first album I ever got was the John Cena album, yeah? What of it?
Definitely going to rewatch some of it now. Is it still the same? |

The only time I have flipped through and saw it on, I noticed some new wrestlers who belong on broadway, but I was happy to see some of the classics still there.
Thank floyd for parents saving all your childhood stuff, going to be watching some of the classics, going to be a good couple of days. |

That said, the Cena/Punk match last night was awesome, dunno how I feel about HHH trying to bury Brock though. Was this lifted from a YouTube comment section? |
