Because of that Hola app (can't believe I only just discovered it, and other apps like it) I went ahead and bought the WWE Network, as I can now get past them blocking UK viewers. Totally worth it.

anyone care about del rio's release (or supposed release, conspiracists)? i was never much of a fan of the character, but the circulating rumors about it all are a bit interesting

I really liked Del Rio as a wrestler. Could get a good match out of anyone, and worked an aggressive, almost shoot style that few people outside Japan/Europe do.
He will be missed as he's a reliable performer. When it was announced, I hoped he had socked Kevin Dunne in the missing tooth but I'm not sure what to think. |

Del Rio should have been the Mexican version of Ric Flair but he didn't have the charisma to pull it off.
The guy cut the same promo for 4 years and the only person he got over in that time was Ricardo Rodriguez, and they got rid of him. Without a world title to hold the guy was a total non entity. If he left 2 years ago he would have been missed, but as for right now they have plenty of talent to fill his spot. I'm just glad I won't have to sit through another Sheamus vs Del Rio match. In fact they should get rid of some more dead weight. Sheamus, Kane, Kofi Kingston & Ryder should be next.

WWE/WWF was my **** when I was a kid
I haven't watched it since around 13 though. I tried to just for the nostalgia factor not long ago and I just couldn't. no way jose Crash Holly and Chris benoit were my favorites. (and now they're dead) ;_; I still watch the divas though occasionally... if you catch my drift. |

Hatemonger, you serious about Kingston? He's a great in-ring worker, makes other people look good, pulls off some cool moves and spots so is always a factor in a ladder/battle royal match. He does exciting things. Yes, his character is just a typical goofy good guy but he's not had the chance to add a layer of depth. I think he could surprise a few people if he gets the chance.
As for Sheamus, the guy's one of the best in-ring talents the company has. Hard hitting, athletic, strong, versatile and capable of working face or heel. If anyone needs cut I'd go - Sin Cara, Matadors, Rosa Mendes, Gabriel, Kidd, Natalya, Khali, Rose and Darren Young. @Overcast: You chose Crash Holly over The Rock or Stone Cold? What's wrong with you |
