So why is Del Bosque concerned about playing him at CB? I'd actually say Parker was one of the better England players.

Parker has nothing on the likes of Carrick, Wilshere, Lampard, Barry and Gerrard because all of those can do what he does (maybe to a lesser standard) but have so much more to their game. A rich man's Lee Cattermole at best.

I'm still struggling to comprehend why Henderson was called up by Hodgy Beats to replace Lampard.
Why wasn't carrick called? And from this source, it would indicate that Cahill's missing out with a broken jaw. Martin Kelly's his replacement. CBBC Newsround - Gary Cahill has been ruled out of the Euros |
