Italy were by far the better team, and I am happy for them because they showed that you can play a flexible 442 formation with two up top and not get outclassed (as long as you have the right players).
I think it doesn't really add any strength to how well England played, because England did not really show anything of note attacking wise against Italy, whereas Germany looked likely to score at many points in the match if they hit the right gear. Italy just outclassed them.

Predictions for tonight? Hard to call, but I still reckon Spain will do it. They've come this far, they're unlikely to stumble now. I know that at times they haven't given their absolute best, but I think even at that they've outclassed just about every team in the tournament, and stand a very good chance of doing the triple.

1-0 Spain or on penalties, but if Balotelli is in form then I can see Italy stealing the victory.

Think Spain did the game of football (and their country) proud tonight, and were worthy winners. Feel for Italy, who made a game of it. For once a final wasn't boring and predictable. Superb job.

Yesterday, the victory parade in Madrid. I was there and took some pics:
Cesc Fábregas: Don't hate Torres, guys. I recorded a vid too. I will show you....
