I forgot about Negredo, but it was strange they never replaced him with Torres.

Spain always play better without a center forward, as was proven last night. Without Villa, their CF is merely a spectator for the majority of the game.

The team were spectators for much of the match as well, only got their act together in extra time. I think if Portugal had a bit more belief in the 90 mins they could've won the match.

Spain did dominate most of the match, just not very penetrating overall. Looked miles better when Cesc came on.

Wow Germany out that's great and what was it with a whole load of their fans crying when they were losing 2-0, did they think they just had to turn up to win the whole thing or something.

The result of this match, actually makes the England match a decent showing and shows that the England back four was one of the best in the tournament.

John Terry was outstanding against Italy, as much as I hate to say anything positive about him.

I was surprised by the result tonight but Italy deserved it. The Germans just seemed to cave under the pressure and never really looked like getting back into it.

I really wanted a Germany Spain final but Italy deserve it.
