he had a 14 yard reception and ran 2 yards a carry(one of them 9 yards) against arguably the best run-stop defense in the league.
I thought he did ok minus the turnovers. Fumbling is something every running back has to go through it seems like, weeks of focusing on ball handling should hopefully solve it. |

San Fran's run D is awesome, but unless you're ripping off 90 yard TDs every other carry, 3 fumbles in 8 carries is inexcusable (even if it is against the Niners, and one of those fumbles was bogus).
It's weird though because Gerhart was never known for fumbling problems. His whole draw is consistency and reliability. We got a heightened example of young RBs having to correct their fumbling issues with AP; don't really want to see that drastic of an example again. |
