Adrian Peterson blows teammates away in footraces; appears to be on the mend | Shutdown Corner - Yahoo! Sports
****in love this guy. Also couldn't have been happier with how the draft went. The rebuild is in motion. |

yeah but he hired all-star lawyer rusty hardin
Adriane sounds pretty confident, hasn't come close to apologizing. Others there said the cops provoked him. Hopefully this, and the percy harvin stuff just makes us more endearing to watch come season! |

I know it's just the Jaguars, but that was a great game today. We were so close to blowing it like the first 4 games last season, but Ponder and Walsh were clutch.
Nice to see that AP hasn't missed a step. Greenway and Robison were beasts on D as well, but Ponder was the one who impressed me the most today. |

Also very impressed vs JAX, especially offensively. Ponder, AD and Harvin were excellent and for the first time in about 3 years, I wasn't completely disgusted with the offensive line.
I don't really know what to make of it though, this is the Jags, not the 49ers or Packers. |

Really ugly game. Here's a few thoughts on it.
Really up and down game for Ponder, even though he finished with good stats. It was good to see him really elevate his game in the 4th (even though that first TD was as lucky as you can get). Still though, there's no way he should have fumbled that ball in the second, and he made some really ugly throws and bad decisions in that quarter. Overall though, he looks pretty good and there's some definite progress being made. I like what I saw from AP. He was getting 4-5 yards at an unbelievably consistent rate, which is exactly what a good RB should be doing. Even before his injury, he was molding his game to become a lot more consistent as opposed to the boom/bust home-run threat he was early in his career. I prefer a RB that can move the chains consistently. The refs screwed up a lot of the calls, but the Vikes were still playing way too undisciplined. The o-line was the main culprit and they didn't look as strong as in the first week. Ponder was getting pressured far too much. The D-line also wasn't getting enough pressure, which is rare, although they really held up in the run game, as per usual. And if that's our secondary against two very inexperienced QBs, this is going to be a very long season. Something drastic needs to change with our passing D. Good thing is that Harvin is an absolute beast. He's such a threat in so many phases of the game. |

Bill Musgrave is brad childress vanilla when it comes to play calling.
Percy was the lil engine that could but come on you couldn't get jenkins or aromashadu on some curl routes? Putting Kyle Rudolph in the slot was neat but the way the vikings play football you would think explosive plays had never existed in football before, ever. Ponder reverted back to older bad habits of running out of the pocket and eyeing down receivers. the secondary is frightening as ever The vikings are the worst team in the nfc. Tampa 2 defense is obsolete yet we continue to use it |

wow
Kyle Rudolph is something special. Glad to see aromashadu can be a competent down field threat. The gerhardbt fumbles were a little disconcerting but otherwise i thought he ran well. The extra challenges given to harbaugh was hard to watch |
