Webb is a very talented fellow on his legs, but I still think Ponder should be their starting QB.
They should indeed start working Webb in with screens or something though. Convert the dude to WR or something! |

Yeah, I don't know what colts team i was watching today.
People are gonna try to knock ponder for his yards today, but what can you do. Phil Loadholdt might as well be holding up a red flag like a matador showing those defensive linemen where to go. I say we get a crazy good middle linebacker in the draft. It seems like many defenses like the ravens and bears have based their unit off a beasty linebacker. But honestly this whole defense, minus jared allen, could go and i wouldnt care. |

There's no MLB worth taking that high for this draft though. I don't think it's our biggest need either. Greenway is as good as it gets on the outside, and the group we have is pretty solid.
If we get either QB Andrew Luck or LT Matt Kalil I'm happy. I like Ponder but Luck is a once in a decade type of QB. The Rams wouldn't take him but the Colts definitely would. That's why I'm really hoping for the Colts to win. Kalil is a franchise LT, which is such an important position, so no complaints there. We need someone to block Ponder's blindside. He's getting wrecked basically every play. If we pick third and the Colts and Rams take those two, I'd say it's a toss-up between WR Justin Blackmon and CB Morris Claiborne. I'm wary about picking players from both of these positions high, but they seem to be the best players available and they both fill a big need. Last edited by Thom Yorke; 12-18-2011 at 08:40 PM. |

Yeah, it's over. In the sense that he will never be the same player. But "over" in the sense that they won't wheel him out there for a few more years and watch him suffer... not so much.
