williams is getting really old and we have no one to line up next to him, fred evans and guion really aren't good for a lot of snaps. Teams can run it down the middle.

People forget Brian Robison isn't young either and he and allen both look on the decline. Unfortunate allen will be due 14 mill next year.

I like this move personally. Harvin was nothing but a problem with his attitude, and he can bring that **** somewhere else. At least when Moss was a problem, he was putting up monster numbers, and playing full seasons. We got draft picks that we can use either to replace him or to add depth to other areas of need
Harvin has been putting up monster numbers. His kick returns alone were wild. Also harvin never took snaps off like randy. I do think jarius wright will develop into a decent slot guy and it looks like were targeting amendola so we should be set there anyway.

Also, we still have AP. He might not have a year like last year, but with him, I could easily see it happening again. He's pretty much a clone of Bo Jackson. I'm optimistic about 2013, but with that said I realize that we have a bit of work to be done.
With all this cap space we have to sign somebody. Releasing antoine seems like an indicator were going to make some sort of move in free agency.

We have Griffen waiting in the wings, who may already be better than Robison. I'm not worried about losing him in the least.

I don't think Jared's declining. He wasn't going to have 22 sacks again, but that's just the thing, he's only one year removed from a monster season.

Williams might be ancient, but he's still a solid DT. I could definitely see him being mediocre or even piss poor, considering DTs tend to fall off a cliff at the end of their careers, but I'm banking on the Vikings using one of their first two picks on a DT.

Harvin was a beast, but he hasn't been playing full seasons since the day he got here. He was always a top receiver when he played, but is he worth all that trouble for someone who's going to sit for 6 games or more? **** no. We can get along without him. I will miss his electrifying style of play, big time, don't get me wrong. It's going to be very hard to replace someone like him, who plays the slot the way he plays it, but he's definitely been a pain in the ass off the field.

In addition, Percy Harvin was asking for so much money and ****. I mean seriously he should have played and then he could have had the big money. Vikings better make some good decisions.

So that just happened. At least Jennings is strong with his intermediate routes as well though. I dunno though, just have a bad feeling about this. I usually get pumped when any of my teams sign a big name free-agent but it's just not there for me right now, even though I like Jennings. I don't think this is going to work out very well. There's still the fact that he might not be as good as people think as Rodgers was the one throwing him the ball, on top of the questions about him being able to be properly utilized at all.

I actually really liked the Cassel signing though. I know he's not going to start because they're too committed to Ponder, but I really think he's be our best option right now. At the worst, he gives us a legit option to go in if something should happen to Ponder.

I'm hoping jennings works out well, don't really know who i'd perfer to have outta free agency.

Hoping no other team is interested in signing antoine, i'm sure the vikigns would match a reasonable offer, we need all the corners we can get.

I really don't know much about matt cassel, i wasn't around to witness his one solid year with the pats, but it does make me nervous the fact that he doesn't have a single highlight on youtube. Plenty captured moments of him choking though. Would have rather spent the money on fitzpatrick or someone who slings it a little bit.

Cassel was nice for one season, and he's been a crapshoot every since. He was the worst QB in the NFL a couple of times, and he was solid a couple of times I believe.

I don't like that at all, but at least it's someone to challenge Ponder, and if anything, I hope Ponder looks sharp and wins the job. Ponder was such a mix last year, and confidence seemed like it was the key with him, probably the same goes for just about anyone though, right?

Glad we got Jennings, because he's a true #1 receiver, and now with Jarius Wright looking like he could be a potential stud slot receiver, I feel like we've improved at receiver.

Thumbs up on the new unis for the Vikings. There are no close ups since they technically won't be unveiled until Thursday. But, I like what I see. I like the Dolphins for the most part too.

As for the Jaguars... view at your own risk.

in the AFC south all the teams are getting pretty much on the same level

everyone on the outside thinks it s a weak divison but its really a scrappy divison

Texans still class tho ... :P and hopefully we can keep it that way for a while

We gave up too many picks to move up to 29, but at the end of the day that was one of the best first rounds I've ever seen. You get a top 5 talent at 23 that fills a need with Williams getting up there in age, you draft a big physical corner to replace Winfield that some people consider the second best corner in the draft and then you get a bigger (although not as good) replacement for Harvin, who most people considered the second best receiver in the draft and for some even the best. We may have just added 3 starters to the lineup without drafting higher than 23. I know Patterson is a bit raw right now but I think he could have starter potential this year.
