christian ponder, 3 tds no picks, only took one sac. Adrianne Peterson pretty much is the best. If they had kept giving him carries in the texans game he would have the numbers. We got exposed at corners-marcus sherrels,aj robinson are going to get beat, it's inevitable. We need to scheme around it somehow, and hope winfield plays. |

Holy crap. So proud of this team. Ponder stepped up huge today. Crazy how we had two players who had two of the best seasons of all time at their respective positions (Peterson and Walsh).
I'm still kind of shocked at how close AP came to that record. He didn't pull off one of those monster runs, yet still managed to run over a team that was trying to put everything they could out to stop him from running over them again, all while not padding his stats and taking the Vikings to the postseason. Best season by a running back of all time IMO. |

Congrats to Peterson on a 2,000 plus season!! Finished just 9 yards shy of Dickersons record...man how do you not give the man the chance to pick up just 9 more yards? Must be frustrating for him but he puts the team before his own achievements I guess. Congats also to the Vikings and Viking fans on making the playoffs!!

Yeah but it was my motivation which gave AP the impetus to make your prediction closest. What an incredible year for the NFL in general. Was also rooting for CJ to bust 2000. I gotta say I'll be rooting for the Vikings throughout the playoffs.

Man I wish he would have broke that record but congrats on your prediction outcome Sparky. I wasn't quite sure with the schedule they had left if he would get to break the record or not but once again "ALL DAY" is capable of suprising even his fans with how close he came. Still one heck of a season in general for football overall and I'm glad I was able to watch it all unfold. Except for the sorry ass cowboys imploding as usual but thats kind of expected now days.
Lol..it looks like in that game film that Williams was bracing HISSELF for a hit and when Peterson did a lil juke he kind of said to hell with it. |
