Personally, I think he's the most overrated player in the league, so I wasn't surprised at the statistical drop-off. Every time I watch him play the guy just sits there in the backfield hoping something opens up. He's completely reliant on his O-line and if he doesn't get a gaping hole he's useless. He's got amazing straight line speed but nothing else. No vision, minimal elusiveness, no strength.

I don't see any comparison to Sanders. Sanders was the most elusive RB in history. Johnson just hopes he can see the open field so he can pick up big chunks of yardage.

It was pretty pathetic seeing the titans run him instead of running out the clock in a couple losses. Had to inflate his stats to not make his 5 year contract seem as retarded

Loved how he started calling out his team instead of himself as well.

I remember the suckers that fought over him in Fantasy following his breakout year. Its always great to see guys break down on their teammates, really separates em from being special when they do that.

Sanders was elusive but also had a lot of plays that went for no gain and negative yards. I remember watching him do this many times throughout a game till he would finally break one. To say Chris Johnson isn't elusive is almost an ignorant statement. Just YouTube some of his better runs. The dude looks like a player on a video game. Is he Barry Sanders? No. Is he Barry Sanderisk? I think so when he's on his game.

Also I could name several star players who acted like premadonna's when things didn't go their way. Doesn't change their place in the record books or chances of making the hall of fame

That's true, but even a lot of those plays were impressive. I'm not saying Johnson isn't elusive at all, but even relative to running backs today, I wouldn't consider him very elusive.

Barry Sanders' elusiveness is on another level than anyone, not just Chris Johnson. He had o-line issues where he had to make his own yardage. Johnson has always had one of the stronger o-lines in the league.
