jesus christ, whats the point in having a run stop defense when nobody besides us runs the ball
What was with the play call at the end? A lateral? We still had 2 time outs at least pretend like your tying to conserve the clock. I was actually kind off optimistic, but our defense seems like they're too old to play a full game and our receivers don't feel like getting open. |

I've seen some pretty confusing viking seasons (anyone remember when mike tice took over-trying to scalp tickets, or the love boat?) but this year is especially weird.
I still think berrian looks lazy as **** out there, when micheal jenkins is our most productive receiver something ain't right. Allen looked crazy good out there though |

There definitely has been some weird things happen to the Vikes over the years such as losing to the Saints in the NFC Championship outgaining them in yardage 2-to-1, losing to the Falcons in the NFC Championship by Anderson missing an easy field goal despite being perfect on the year (and being 15-1 in the regular season), starting 6-0 only to not qualify for the playoffs (and losing to the 4-12 Cardinals on the last week on a freak last second play to eliminate them from the playoffs), etc., etc. Just add this one on the heap. I know he hasn't had a fair test yet, but Frazier's gotta go. You don't allow this to happen 3 straight weeks. Take control of your team. And give the McNabb experiment another week or two. Surely Ponder can't do any worse (I think...?). |

They abandon the run pretty much in the second half if you look at A.P's carry ratio 1rst half compared to second half carries, his second half carries are considerably lower. Plus McNabb was booted out of Philly for a reason guys. Hate T.O. as much as you want but he knew long ago Mcnabb didnt have what it took to be an elite Q.B. in the NFL. That compounded with the fact there was no offseason pratice really and they are under new managment. Just doesnt leave much hope that can salvage this season with any kind of playoff hopes at all. I say throw the whole season and try an get a good 1rst round pick for a Q.B. Or look around the league for what might be availible to trade for. Carson Palmer will be back next year after he sets out his contract with the Bengals. That could always be an option but Mcnabb isnt the answer and they need a new addition to their receiving core definatley.

Yeah, AP has even complained about it.
I actually think McNabb used to be great regardless of TO or not. I know he had the best TD/INT ratio of all time (probably doesn't have it anymore), so he was a really good decision maker, and was always a threat with his feet. He just doesn't have it anymore. And no to Palmer. I'm done with veteran QBs that are past their prime. I'm all about tanking for a top QB (AKA Luck). But with Ponder in the fold who the Vikes for whatever see as an answer, I don't see anything like that happening. It's not like the receiving core is helping our QB situation out either though. It's terrible. |

I hear ya...they could always try an wait and see if a team is in dier need of a Q.B later in the season and then trade Mcnabb for another pick maybe. Who knows..I just hate to see A.P. having to try an carry the load for the whole team. If they had a legit pass attack they could be dangerous.
