I agree, although Megatron killed us really. I think it's going to be tough to beat Green Bay without Chris Cook, though, but this is football.
Ponder was fantastic without Harvin though, and maybe he goes back to Rudolph some more. 6-4, hoping Seattle loses. |

I wonder what it was that made ponder play so much better today. It looked like a stronger performance by the o line(i've never been that good at telling) but the receivers weren't getting more seperation really-he was just flat out throwing it better. Christian ponder has the 3 worst games of any QB this year, but it's hard to not be optimistic about us when he plays like today. |

I think today proves Ponder is mentally as tough as anyone. I also think that today proves he can be an accurate passer to any part of the field, including going deep (that was a bomb to Wright, and on the money where only his guy had a shot at it.

Wright looked amazing in preseason. Glad to see him getting a chance. Hopefully they find ways to keep him involved.
Well, they've been hit and miss, but overall I'm impressed with the team at this point in the season. I had them pegged for 6 wins on the whole season (although with that schedule coming up it's not impossible to lose out). I think we're looking at about a .500 team here though, with a chance at making the playoffs. Great building year. |

Minnesota Vikings pounded the **** out of the Detroit Lions. Now if Vikings can knock out the Bears and Packers, they might be able to win the NFC North divison and if the Giants collapse, then Vikings might have a chance at a superbowl.

Lets ease off the gas here, the Bears and Packers are the test to see if we have what it takes. If we take 3/4 of the divisional games remaining and beat the Texans, then maybe this team has something. Realistically though, I think they'll beat the Rams, and I could see us splitting with GB amd Chicago. Remember, Ponder kept it close with Green Bay last year (in Minnesota for his debut), and he is better this year whether he had those last 3 games or not. He is actually significantly better, and the Vikings are playing better as a team.
I think Chicago's built properly, but their offense can struggle, and their defense can be beat with pass or run, and the Vikings have the threat of both. Regardless, this year has already been a huge success, and I have confidence in the FO, coaching staff and players like I haven't had since 2009. It's only a matter of time before we build up the squad to be reckoned with. Last edited by Forward To Death; 11-12-2012 at 06:41 PM. |

Well you can charge those 7 points to Peterson. I just dont get how someone as strong as he is has fumbling issues.
Oh in case anyone was still wondering, those charges against him were dropped completley. |
