ponder still makes me nervous. People credit his decision making but i feel like he has done virutally none of it, musgrave has him on an extremely short leash. I remember a couple plays where instead of looking at the 2nd or 3rd option he immediately threw the screen to harvin and both times the ball hit the chests of Detroit defensive ends. He was rolling to his right far too often even though it never worked yesterday.
I don't think our level of play is sustainable. Were too thin everywhere (receivers, secondary, o and d line) to handle the almost certain injuries were going to face. |

^ AP still hasn't hit his full stride though. Ponder has been on a tight leash, sure, but that hasn't been an issue so far. Harvin is the ultimate check-down option, so he could feasibly keep this up. The D's play is definitely sustainable, I think.
I dunno, I went into the season pretty pessimistic, but our schedule isn't that tough going into the bye week (Cardinals are playing way over their heads and all of the other games are winnable). After the bye week, the schedule is brutal, but it wasn't like I was expecting this team to make the playoffs anyways. I'd be satisfied with a .500 season to show growth, even if we don't get a good pick out of it. It looks like we're on pace to do that or more. |

This game vs the titans is a good opportunity to flex our muscle. Throw it down field and force other teams to respect our passing game. If jerome simpson is a viable threat, which all signs indicate to him being, we are actually surprisingly well rounded.
Great tight end in kyle rudolph(though his pass protection needs work) great slot receiver in harvin, and legitimate deep threat in simpson, with the best running back in the league in the backfield. Micheal Jenkins is garbage and needs to go, i'd rather see aromashadu running those routes ,at least he can pull a double move with out it seeming like (quoting a favorite sports writer) "he's running underwater". I think the redskins could be tough. Our d line is good but our secondary still isn't solid enough for us to blitz, and RG3 is going to cause problems if he gets comfortable. |

Percy ****in' Harvin. This guy is completely changing my perception of him this year and you could make an argument for him being one of the best offensive players in the league so far. This team's shaping up really nicely; still not getting any respect from the "experts" though. Almost every power ranking I've seen has them at around 16.

Dude, I've been seeing this thread around forever, and I figured it was about some punk or alternative band called "**** the Vikings". Then I click on it just now out of boredom, and find out that it's actually a thread bitching about the Vikings. I lol'd.

kinda expected a loss today.
Was surprised we didn't pressure RG3 more, at least a little bit. We really need jerome simpson, someone to spread the field. Ponders accuracy needs to get better, which, unfortunately isn't usually something that happens to qb's |
