Patriots #3? Laughable. Inferior team defensively, with almost no prayer to stop competent offenses. I'm not impressed.

Also, I think it's time to stop making excuses for the Vikings' opponents, they're 4-1, and could just as easily be 5-0 with decisive wins over San Fran, Detroit and Tennessee. The only thing that I think can hurt them at this point is conditioning, and whether or not they remain healthy.

This team has a very nice future at this rate, even if they're not ready to crack the top spots on power rankings.

It's been proven recently in this league that you can be an elite team with a weak defense if you have a dynamic passing attack.

As for the Vikings, I don't think their schedule can be ignored. The Jaguars and Titans are two of the worst teams in the league and the Colts aren't great either. The 49ers win is massive, and the Lions win is impressive as well, even if they are dysfunctional. Still though, you can't just look at a team's record in a vacuum, especially this early in the season.

Uhh, pretty sure they dominated all of their wins, and Tennessee has impressive wins vs. Pittsburgh and Detroit. We KILLED the Titans, who just shut down the Steelers. We played Indianapolis as close as GB did, and how can you not respect Indy for that?

Second half of the season is what matters. The last 6 games of the season are gonna be tough for the vikes (bears and packers twice each, and detroit one more time)

Is anyone going to block for Rivers this year? **** San Diego's O-Line. And their D-Line, for that matter. AND Battle does not need to be starting over Mathews. I have no idea what goes through Norv Turner's head.
