If you turn the ball over you lose, and thats what happened. With the fumble being the biggest turning point in the game. Oh well 6 monthe till training camp now. Hopefully a lockout wont take place, and my Dallas Cowboys will be playing in the big game next year. In all actuality the Steelers not winning does have one good aspect. They stay at 6 super bowl victories instead of 7. Which is only one ahead of Dallas. At any rate good job Green Bay.
That's the main I love them for losing but I don't think the Niners will be able to pull it together to make a good season next year, we will see since they fired that one coach, I can't remember his name at the moment.

The great Mike Singletary...former Bears linebacker. Great hof player. Coach..not so much. I really have to give it to Green Bay I didnt think they could beat the Steelers. Especially suffering the injuries they did, and being a young team in the spotlight of the biggest stage of their careers. They held their poise though, and pulled it off... the victory.

sore loser man. Steelers didn't have what it takes to get the job done and they lost. You are trying to cut packers short when they did a superb job.

Why is there so much hate for the Steelers here? Dont hate me, I'm an Englander so dont really get all the news and stories that the US and Canada would, so if there is something major that happened (apart from the Big Ben rape thing) I havent heard it. Or is it just that they've been pretty successful recently?

I dont know about superb...they were one Roethlisberger throw away from potentially losing the game. Take away the three turnovers that resulted in 21 points and the games not even close. So in a sense you can say they beat themselves but their deffense didnt arise to the occasion. The Packers deffense did with Matthews forcing the fumble in the second half. By the same token when its crunch time in that key moment of the game. You should be thinking "dont turn the ball over" at any cost.
