I heard about Gerrard in early April. It's been common knowledge in the north west. Not the bit about being his wife's sister though.
I can imagine Terry's annoyance at the double standards. Another explanation/excuse I heard was about England's pre world cup altitude training. According to a leading doctor the altitude training is only good for game's at altitude. And when playing at sea level the blood thickens. BBC News - Today - Was 'sludgy blood' responsible for England exit? |

It means, little piggy, that the story went round the rumour mill quite a while before the press got wind of it. Emphasis on, the press. Incredibly, not everything happens first on the internet! The same applied for when Gerrard stayed on with Liverpool after winning the Champions League. He wanted out, but the local gangsters were having none of it. Another rumour that proved correct over time. |

I've heard the thing about gangsters before. Don't know how some people can live themselves. What would they have done if he had have left? |
