Man City Versus Tottenham on first day 2010/11 Season.
England are absolute trollop! At least we know for sure we cannot compete at this level. Time for new young team to develop like others already said. It was a struggle to get through the groups in first place... Should have realised our bubble would burst with an anti Climax. |

Ashley Cole will only be 33 in the next world cup & you'd still have Leighton Baines & Stephen Warnock just over 30.
I don't think finding a left back is any great priority.

And I don't think either of them are particularly good. 33 year old Cole it is. We need 2 or 3 CMs. Huddlestone? Maybe. |

Ugh i cant even be arsed to work through the last however many pages of this thread that happened while i was out at the minute. I just wanna say this:
I dont generally like to see the manager get the blame for a **** performance. But Capello forces a formation that doesnt play to the strengths of his squad, he leaves the 2nd most in form English striker at home in favour of an absolute muppet, he uses said muppet and Wright Phillips as impact subs to replace better players and then says we played well after a 4-1 defeat! Im afraid that i have to say that Mr. Capello hasnt delivered. Its so easy to blame a manager but i really do think that he had options that he didnt use and made very bad decisions. Whether he stays on now or not is in serious doubt, in my opinion. |
