I wouldn't say no, but I wouldn't pay over the odds. £40m for him? that'd be a joke.

Yeah, Ruud is a one off. We were flirting with the idea of Huntelaar.. because he's in the same mould as Ruud and he's terrible.
I wouldn`t comprare Suarez to Alves, because Suarez has had a big reputation in Sth America for a couple of years now, whereas Alves was unheard of until his good season in Holland. Also Suarez plays for Ajax and not a lesser team in Holland like Alves did.

If he doesn`t go to Utd he`ll just go to another big European side. I wish my team Arsenal were signing Suarez, he certainly looks tastier at this level than Bendtner did the other night.

They look terrible as well, the U.S.A.

They need a fire lighting under them before they come out for the second half.

The commentator summed up the current state of affairs quite nicely.

"It's men against boys...and the boys are on top".

I thought so too. It does sum this game up perfectly so far.

I got sick of Little Britain many, many years ago now but i still really like that Nationwide advert they are playing during the world cup. The one with Lou, Andy, Fabio and the boys. Of course, you know exactly whats going to happen but it still tickles me. Mainly the reactions of Defoe and Crouch.,

Man, I don't know much about soccer, but it seems like Ghana are playing a pretty dirty game. They are deliberately attacking the American players out there, kicking the **** out of them.

You get that if you watch Wigan, Stoke, Blackburn week in week out. It's an acceptable way of playing in England, I myself prefer teams playing football. But you get a lot that play in that physical manner.

Extra time looms.
So as not to jinx the U.S. I'll type this in brackets so it doesn't count. (U.S.A. to win).

I keep hearing that TEAM AMERICA have an impressive stamina level.
They'll need it now!

That's odd, because generally in America soccer is considered more of a sissy boy sport, and it's definitely not known for that kind of physical contact. But I guess that's part of the way they play over there.
