Well that's just put an extra £10 million on the asking price for Suarez.

Unless it's already a done deal.

Did anyone else notice Suarez and United's Park swap shirts at the end of the match? mmm.

It was a lot more open than expected and but for poor finishing South Korea could have took the match.

All geared up for tonight's clash.
C'mon U.S.A.

I really hope Saurez to United isn't a done deal.

I found out about half an hour ago that I'm gonna have to be at work while it's on. A bit of a pisser as it's the one I was really looking forward to today.

Nope, I've actually been unimpressed with him. He looks like the Uruguayan Andy Cole. 5 chances for a goal. I mean, I'd take him.. He seems like he could be a good little finisher. But not for a ridiculous price. £15-20m or GTFO.

But players that are goal machines in a league like the Dutch one never go cheap. Alves could score for fun over there, couldn't hit a barn door here. I feel there would be better options.. although we'll have to make do with Smalling and Hernandez.

Although if Hernandez shows the composure he did against France then...

A Uruguayan Andy Cole? I wouldn't care one bit if his shot to goal ratio was poor providing he has a similar return (like Cole) as he has in the Dutch league with Ajax.
97 apps and 74 goals.
You must be mad.
I've only got one thing to say about a Dutch/England transfer...Ruud!

Andy Cole only had that goal return because of the service. Beckham and Giggs in their best years.. So many crosses into the box. I obviously love Andy Cole but he missed a few chances before he put 1 away. Saurez looks the same, he doesn't look like a young Michael Owen, the type of player who can see a half chance, and take it. I wouldn't say no, but I wouldn't pay over the odds. £40m for him? that'd be a joke.

Yeah, Ruud is a one off. We were flirting with the idea of Huntelaar.. because he's in the same mould as Ruud and he's terrible.

Where did you get £40M from?
Ajax might quote that kind of money after the World Cup if he continues to show the form he's in at the moment.
Apart from his goals for Ajax, his overall play is solid. He's not just a goal machine. Dutch player of the year as testimony.

If Suarez does come to United it'll be because of a deal done months ago.
If he's still available, then he'll be out of our price range with the financial situation at O.T. being what it is.

Back to tonight's big match...2-0 U.S.A.

Just a figure that's been floating about, even before the world cup. In the current market and his goal return last season, it's to be expected. From what I've seen, his all round play doesn't look great.. But if he came to OT, which I seriously doubt. Then I'd of course support him and hope he does well, but I do believe there are better options out there.

It won't be a done deal, because Fergie is reluctant to go into the market.
