Alot of what he said was true but it was "Stupid" not to avoid the Germans, was it? Yeah, cause we chose to finish second! For someone who claims not to fear the English, he surely spends alot of the time talking to the press about us and having a few digs.

Do we have any expendable players? If so, i say we follow a win on Sunday with a quick headbutt to his smug, old, face.

They do fear England because its been many a year since they`ve had world class players of the calibre of Matthaus etc. Since Euro 1996 England have had the best of it in meetings with the Germans, a fact that will worry the Germans.

'Burnt out' or not, a match against Germany is always going to be a seperate entity and the players are going to put even more into the match than they did yesterday. I think it could be one of the games of the tournament.

In a world cup lacking in the free kick department, that one was a stunner! Slight goalkeeping error in judgement but cracking all the same. 1-0 Japan.

I'd be watching the game but, as much as I'd like Japan to go through, they've been pretty much the most boring side to watch in the tournament. Best of luck to them all the same though.

The traditional world pecking order has gone right out of the window in this World Cup.
Good stuff.

Hmm...maybe I should watch this game after all.

Should be a great knockout tournament at this rate. Hopefully we'll have another WC2002 situation on our hands.
